HOW TO CLEAN
Step 1: Fill the hydration bladder with warm water, half a teaspoon of bleach and two tablespoons of baking soda. Shake, close, then let it sit for 30 minutes or so.
Step 2: Dump out the cleaning solution, rinse well, flush the hose, prop the water reservoir open and hang it to dry.
HOW TO SUCK FOR WATER
There is an “on” and “off” bottom on the mouthpiece. If you put it “off”, water can’t get out. Please also bite while suck the mouthpieces .

Excellent, bladder worked perfectly. I was concerned about leakage as I had another product that leaked. Came with an additional rubber gasket, (look for the small ziptop bag with the gasket). Easy to fill. Introduction and instructions from seller were helpful. Instructions note replacing after 6 months. I probably will buy a second bladder to keep on hand.

Premium Quality, Great Features – Note: On/Off valve
I recently purchased this hydration bladder for a camping and hiking trip to Big Bend. I washed and tested it out before the trip and was pretty impressed with the quality of the materials and parts. It also comes with a spare O-ring for the tube connection which is nice. There was no pervasive smell or anything other than the usual new “plastic” smell that was gone after washing. And importantly, no plastic or chemical taste at all – just pure H2O. It fit and worked great in my REI daypack, carries a good amount of water, was easy to fill on-the-go with the big fill hole, had no leaking at all over several days of camping/hiking, and the bite-valve worked perfectly. Stupidly, I didn’t realize it had an On/Off valve and couldn’t figure out why the water stopped flowing halfway through my first hike. Turns out I had accidentally pushed the valve in and shut off the flow. So I can attest that this feature works :)So yeah, 2 notes I would share:1) the bite-valve pushes in/out to shut the flow off/on;2) to empty the tube of water after washing or using, disconnect the tube, hold it upside down with the bite-valve at the bottom, and just squeezed the bite valve to release all the water.Overall, the quality and functionality of this hydration bladder is excellent and feels premium. Worked flawlessly (other than my own human error) on multiple hikes in hot and rugged conditions. Nice bladder. It’s easy to fill and appears to be well built. I’ve used it twice now. The bite valve cover is kind of stupid, I cut it off immediately. The bite valve itself is good. The reason I bought this one is that it has two holes in the top so that it can be suspended in larger waterpacks, such as those used for hiking. My older Camelback bladder would slide down to the bottom of the pack and tug the hose, making it too short. My pack has two little tab – hooks to support the weight of the bladder.

This bladder fits well in my backpack pouch and the drinking hose is plenty long to reach my mouth without stretching or pulling. The bladder is made of a good quality rubberized material that has enough flexibility to fit in a variety of pockets and stand up to a lot of adventures. The lid has a well fitting rubber O-ring that prevents leaks from sloshing. The wide opening also makes it fairly easy to clean.

I used this last spring break for my columbia backpack that unfortunately did not come with the bladder. but columbia bladder costs $50! almost just as the backpack itself. so i thought I’d try this. i am surprised it held up well. i like the fact that it tip has cover so when i put my backpack down, it does not get dirtied. i have only used this for 3 days. just day hikes. we shall see how long this will last. but im really happy with my purchase.

Only used it once for a long hike (36km). No leaks, perfect kit.. Does not waste water either, you can completely empty it with the tube. If it can give this same performance long term, it’s a spectacular product.
