The Dead-Hold BDC is good for hunting at varying ranges where estimating hold-over is a concern. Fully multi-coated lenses increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces.
The locking diopter eyepiece allows the user to set and lock the eyepiece setting once for their eye and forget it.
The hard anodized finish provides a low-glare matte surface and helps camouflage position. O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged, the Sonora delivers water and fogproof performance. Rugged construction means this scope is shockproof.

Great scope
This is a great product. I did extensive reading and asking questions to decide which scope to go with for my hunting rifles and I selected this one. It’s very affordable. It’s about 30% cheaper than some of the other ones. I also found out from the company that makes them that they it’s actually the more expensive model if they just took the name off of and put the name Sonora on it to kind of capture customers in the southwest area of the United States so you’re paying less for what would be $50-$75 more I’ve had absolutely no problems with it and I just bought my fifth one. I’m gonna have all of my stuff have the same ones so I’m very pleased with it.

Highly recommend
I bought this last year to add to my deer rifle. After one year of using it both at the range and hunting I can say I am more than satisfied. It is super clear and good in low light. Its lighter than a few of my other scopes, so it helps me when trekking further in the brush. Its also rugged. My rifle took a fall off of our 4 wheeler when a strap broke. Dented the scope but still shot sub moa. Because it had a decent dent I reached out to Vortex and they sent me a new scope free of charge (They even threw in a hat). Great company, great scope.

I have yet to shoot anything with it, but it is very light weight and I can see clearly at far distances… better than any other scopes I’ve been using and it focuses even with my very poor eyesight..More expensive, but seems to be worth it

Great value
Thought it would be low quality for the price but it is actually awesome. Got it for my Marlin 25m and it works great. No issues so far, nice and bright and it’s amazing value for the low price tag. I’ve been able to be very accurate out to 100 yards.

Quality scope
Ive always had Nikon scopes until they quit making them then I switched to Vortex, I have a crossfire II, diamondback, and this sonora. I didn’t expect much due to the low cost but I believe it’s clearer than the crossfire 2! It holds zero on my .270 without issue! The “unconditional, unlimited, lifetime warranty” that vortex offers is what sold me. I’m a disabled combat veteran, unlike the non combat veterans I can’t afford top of the line equipment so I’m grateful for a quality scope that I can afford with a great warranty to back it up!
