Replacement Polar H1 Sensor
The first H1 Sensor I received didn’t work. Heart Rate Monitors USA sent a replacement and it works fine. I use the sensor with my Polar watch and treadmill. I was a little shocked when the first one didn’t work. Have never had a Polar product malfunction out of the box. But the replacement came quickly and I’m happy with the customer service. I highly recommend Polar products.

Would not buy again
Strap length should say S-M, barely stretched around my chest even when adjusted to its max, I am a 160 pound male so not a huge chest. Strap also looks cheaply made, not a Polar original, just a cheap replacement. It does work with my treadmill, but heart readings fluctuate a lot compared to my Polar T 31 sensor strap. I guess this was cheap for a reason, but it did say used.

Works and replaces T31
I love this unit because I can change the battery myself. It works with the cycle equipment at the gym. It also works with with my Polar A1 and FT1.I have five T31’s that have worked well but what a waste not being able to change the battery after it dies. I even tried a method to change the T31 battery featured on You Tube but that didn’t work. This unit has a slightly shorter range than the T31 when I’m on the gym cycle but I can adjust to that easily. Love this unit and like all Polar transmitters wet the band before attaching it to your chest.

Over the decades, Polar has always been a reliable brand. So glad it is still true. You need to wet the inside before putting it on. If I go to the gym class and realize I forgot to put it on, I just take it out of my bag and rub a little water out of my water bottle to get it we first. It is so easy to put on, I put it on right there.And it is so comfortable, I forget to take it off and find it on at the end of the day.Highly recommend… you will not be disappointed.

It works well, but my old T31-coded strap is of better quality and is easier to clip on and off. The H1’s advantage is that the battery can be changed, but the T31 battery can’t be accessed and changed.

My polar watch FT7 is revived I have hope
I bought a ft7 in 2013 and it stopped working. Every one said it was the band and you had to wet it and followed the instructions to a t. I gave it another chance and bought a replacement band and transmitter from polar and still did the same.I didn’t give up hope as I refused to buy another heart rate monitor. I do have the blaze and the calorie burn is not as sufficient. So I ordered the h1 and it fits perfect. I bought batteries for the watch and just tried a cardio workout and it works. I hope it continues it’s momentum.

Functions intermittently at best. Polar customer care is non-existent. Try another brand.
My Polar H1 functions intermittently at best. I have followed the recommendations: Immerse unit in water before use. Use conductive gel.Still unsatisfactory service.Naturally, I’m outside of the Amazon ‘return window’.I have tried to contact Polar directly at least three time. Polar’s AI says that I’ll receive an email. An email which never arrives.My advice: Do yourself a favor: Try another brand. Don’t waste your time with Polar.

Life Saver
My job requires me to pass a yearly physical cardio test, so a treadmill is part if that process.While on the treadmill, I always wanted to know my heart rate. I had a Polar T31 Heart Sensor with the F1 display watch. The T31 doesn’t allow you to change the batteries, so I purchased an H1, which has a battery compartment, to replace The T31. The H1 paired with the F1 with no problem.While still working with the T31, I had occasion to be on the treadmill when my heart rate numbers started going haywire. A check with my doc revealed I had an Atrial Flutter, which is a precursor to A-fib. After a Cardiac Aversion (shock my heart back to rythm), and a later Arterial Ablation (Going into the heart, via an artery from the groin, and zapping the problem with a laser), I am happy to say I am back to full duty and treadmilling along with the watchful eye of the H1 of course.If not for this product, I probably would have pushed myself into a heart attack because the cardio test is either pass or lose your job?Thank you Polar.

Prima di scrivere la recensione ho voluto testarla una decina di volte , presa in sostituzione della fascia originale oramai distrutta del mio polar F11M anno 2006/7 circa , pienamente compatibile si connette con il cardio in neanche 10 secondi , molto comoda non si sente addosso .Una piccola chicca , ho scelto il ritiro presso l ‘ufficio postale del mio paese per motivi di lavoro , doveva arrivare in 6 giorni ma é arrivata dopo 2 !
