Local fish are scared!
I found this the perfect buy for me since I wasn’t sure about getting back into local fishing. It fit my budget at the time and didn’t advertise too many bells and whistles. I like how it came with an extra tip which I haven’t had a need to use yet but I see more fishing trips this year so who knows? I normally don’t go for rod and reel combos but this was a perfect pair in cost and quality. KastKing was an unknown to me and got my attention compared to the local choices at the big retailers. Durable, decent price, great for someone getting back to the water!

Super happy with this combo. The reel is smooth and just how I like it. The only thing I would’ve done differently is go with the short version. The 7’+ one is a little longer then I would like for smaller spots, but that is my fault. I am catching a lot of fish and the pole is holding up well to the abuse. Great job KastKing

Fantastic reel, first rod end snapped. But they send 2 of them. May need to upgrade the rod. But the reel is fun, haven’t gotten any big backlashes. Very smooth.

Dang! This rod/reel combo is fire 🔥! I was skeptical but this combo outperforms all my other rigs. I went with 20lb braid to 8lb fluorocarbon. It casts soooo smooth! Lightweight, balanced and durable! Looks amazing too.

Extremely reliable combo that is perfect for all levels of angler. I have been fishing this combo hard (at least twice a week, multiple hours each time) for about 6 months and it has held up through rain, snow, ice and everything in between. It casts very reliably and is very light compared to similar reels. The drag could be a bit higher but I was able to reel in a 26+ pound aggressive carp with it and it performed flawlessly.Pick up this combo and you won’t regret it. Excellent value for the money.
