I've had several Humminbird Depth Finders and like their functionality and features for the price. But beware! NOTHING in the description or specifications tells how long the transducer cable is! THAT should be stated in the specifications! That's fine on a runabout under 22' but on a 24' pontoon, it was almost a deal killer! Installation of transducer came up 2' short of reaching the dashboard. Thankfully found an extension cable ("10FT Repalcement for Humminbird Transducer Extension Cable, 720096-2 ECM30 Transducer Extension Cable for Helix 5 7 8 9 10 12 15, PiranhaMAX. Visit the VHBW Store" — and was able to complete the installation. I think $43 for a 10' cable is a bit ridiculous! And beware when you buy the cable — description is not accurate! It has male and female ends, description doesn't say and Rufus says it has two male ends (which is illogical). But all is well and I look forward to knowing how much water is under my boat!
