A GREAT product!
I have been using Evolved Habitat’s Buck Jam for several years now, and honestly, it has been a game changer. I know there are a lot of people who “say that” about a lot of products, but I’m serious. I pour this directly on the ground and the deer show up within a few hours, literally! Once the jam has time to soak into the soil, the deer will keep coming back to that same spot for the minerals. The deer in my area know what Persimmon’s are so that’s what I buy. This will attract wild hogs as well.

Stuff is amazing!
This doesn’t attract in a few days. It’s to establish a mineral lick. I started using it 20 yrs ago. Now I have a hole over 12″ deep and 5′ in diameter. Deer regularly visit it. Bad thing about this on this sold by this person/organization on Amazon is It’s priced a few $ more than it should be. I usually pick it up for around $7-$9 locally.

Missing lid
I ordered this for my husband. It arrived without a lid, only the foil seal over the opening. He also said the level was about 2 inches lower than it typically is (and than is shown in the item photo). Nothing had leaked out in the box but it had less in it than normal. Also he didn’t plan on using it all at once but now doesn’t have a lid. He likes the product and usually buys some every year, but couldn’t find it in store which is why he had me order it. He recommends the product but I’d say try to buy in store.

Expensive deer juice
Not much luck with this one. Have tried several brands and scented jams not much luck with this one would likely stick with honey acorn or apple scent in future. Our Wisconsin whitetails were not drawn to this one as well as other products. Maybe deer were just spooked by first week of gun hunt?
