Does not include the lake vu charts as advertised
As an avid bass fisherman I purchased the ECHOMAP UHD2 74CV with the notion, per item description, that I would be getting LakeVu preinstalled. I find out that this model only comes with coastal waterways and doesn’t have LakeVu installed. According to Garmin, if I want LakeVu maps, I have to purchase it for an additional $150.Garmin suggested sending this UDH 74cv unit back to Amazon and to purchase the UDH73cv unit which is identical to the UDH74cv but has the Lake Vu maps installed without any coastal waterways maps installed. This unit is actually $50 less than what I spent for the UDH 74cv.The description this item was copy and pasted from Amazons web page.”Preloaded Charts:Know the waters you’re in as if you grew up fishing them by using built-in LakeVü g3 inland maps, BlueChart g3 coastal charts, or worldwide basemap with support for Garmin Navionics+™ and Garmin Navionics Vision+™ marine cartography.”As for the Echomap UDH 74cv itself, I never used it so I don’t know how well it performs. I returned it and ordered the UDH 73cv. I will post a separate update on Amazon once I have check out the new UDH 73cv,
